New research from Deloitte's 2026 State of AI in the Enterprise report adds an important update: the challenge has evolved. Access to AI tools grew 50% in a single year. Results have not kept pace. Deloitte calls it the Activation Gap, and it sits at the center of what professional services marketers are wrestling with right now. Our latest post goes beyond the diagnosis. The era of casual AI experimentation is over. According to PwC's 2026 predictions, companies are finally abandoning the "ground-up," crowdsourced approach to AI. Why? Because fragmented, siloed experiments rarely drive actual enterprise transformation or meaningful outcomes. The new playbook is entirely top-down. Winning organizations are now establishing centralized "AI studios"—hubs designed to align tech components and skilled talent directly with high-ROI business goals.
