Without AI, I'm lost! I urgently need more AI. Why? A short (much simplified) story: ... in a conversation with a business partner, he told me that they wanted to innovate their business model and services with the help of AI. I asked him, what makes you so sure that AI will make you more innovative? He replied, because everyone says it and does it. I then asked, where do you want to use which type of AI and how much do you need? I replied, we have two options for doing this: #1: We take a few pre-trained AI agents and look for as many areas of use cases as possible to employ them, or... #2: We consider the existing challenges, weaknesses, and objectives of our business processes and services, and use the technologies in a targeted and high-volume manner to achieve results. I know it's a very simplified story. But doesn't it sound familiar? It feels like we're desperately chasing a bus, trying to catch it in time. Then, once inside, we wonder where it's going. When will we finally learn to think and act differently?
