When I think about the future of public services, I think about stories like this one from Munich. The city’s Fire Department has partnered with Microsoft to build an AI Operator that handles non-emergency medical transport calls – serving a population of 1.5 million. It’s powered by Azure Voice (HD) and developed through Microsoft Foundry. The result is faster response times for urgent cases, less pressure on dispatchers and nurses, and a smarter, more efficient way to serve the community. This is what’s truly exciting about AI: its ability to support the people who support us, freeing up time and energy for the moments that matter most. I’m proud of our teams in Germany and across Microsoft who are working hand-in-hand with public sector leaders to reimagine what’s possible. https://aka.ms/AAyqix3
This is great Pamela Maynard OBE and good proof of value for concierge approach across multiple services.
Public sector has immense potential to scale their citizen services impact through AI. Great partnership story.
