Xeos by Satlink successfully demonstrated the accuracy and versatility of its GNSS-based Brizo X wave sensor during field testing at Halifax Harbour. The successful Halifax Harbour trials proved that the Brizo X can deliver reliable wave data from a range of buoy platforms, supporting Xeos’ mission to provide flexible, cost-effective ocean monitoring technologies for scientific and commercial applications. Accurate localisation starts with reliable corrections. Differential GNSS (DGNSS) improves GNSS accuracy from metres to sub-metre levels, and when combined with OXTS technology, can deliver centimetre-level precision. Learn how DGNSS works and how to integrate it into your setup in our latest blog: https://hubs.la/Q03QbFWh0

🇺🇸🇳🇴 Virginia-based NAL Research Corporation collaborated with two Norwegian firms, Tschudi Group and SGM Technology AS, to develop a solution that warns ships of spoofed signals. The solution is named PntGuard: 🌊 Plug-and-play navigational support that instantly warns crews when ship’s position has been compromised 🌊 Features two main components: receiver that connects to PNT service, and bridge display that shows ship’s spoofed GPS signal and its true real-time position 🌊 Unlike traditional systems that only alert crews when GPS is disrupted, PntGuard provides secured alternative position data through connection with Iridium low-Earth orbit satellite network

Impressive what’s possible on coax today. At the Austrian Cable Days, together with Witke AG, we’re showing Xantus by Giax GmbH delivering 10 Gbps over 80 meters of coax — live. This isn’t a lab setup — it’s a real-world demonstration of how operators can move beyond DOCSIS and unlock multi-gigabit performance on their existing coax infrastructure. No spectrum limitations. No shared channels. Just dedicated, symmetrical 10G capacity right at the cable edge. 👉 A clear path for operators ready to modernize without overhauling their networks. #CableDays #CableDays2025 #Giax #Xantus #Witke #CableEdge #BroadbandInnovation #Coax #10Gbps #10G_is_just_the_beginning
🚀 Exciting times at the Austrian Cable Days in Linz! Together with our partner Witke AG, we’re showcasing Xantus by Giax — our innovative technology enabling 10 Gbps over an 80 meter coax cable. This live demo highlights how existing coax access networks and in-building coax infrastructure can deliver fiber-like performance without the cost and complexity of re-cabling. If you’re attending, drop by the Witke booth to see Xantus in action and discover how it can accelerate your network upgrades with minimal disruption. #CableDays #CableDays2025 #Giax #Xantus #Witke #BroadbandInnovation #Coax #10Gbps #FTTC #MDU

Small sidenote: The upstream performance of Xantus is obviously full 10G - using XGS-PON as uplink, we‘re slightly limited by the lower-than-10G line rate of XGS-PON in the upstream direction. So we do not only match but even superseed the underlying XGS-PON maximum rates!

What happens when a radar sequencer learns the language of RISC-V instead of a fixed ISA? On Wednesday Michael Atzmüller presented our paper "Leveraging RISC-V for flexible and adaptive real-time radar sequencing" at DVCon Europe in Munich. Michael showcased how a RISC-V based sequencer with custom CSRs brings software-level flexibility and real-time adaptability to FMCW radar ramp control. More details? 👉 Paper: https://lnkd.in/dUDE2sh9 Thanks to the great collaboration Rainer Findenig, Bernhard Greslehner, Wolfgang Ecker and Infineon Technologies.

Two key electromagnetic (EM) signatures of an object are its reflectivity (Radar Cross Section) and micro-Doppler characteristics. At the Bistatic Radar (BiRa) measurement facility of TU Ilmenau, Germany, we perform comprehensive measurements of both reflectivity and micro-Doppler signatures. We are pleased to share our BiRa system and selected measurement results at the upcoming “Multistatics & Passive Radar Focus Days 2025”, hosted by Fraunhofer FHR. This work is a collaborative effort by Saw James Myint, Heraldo Costa, Sebastian Giehl, Masoumeh Pourjafarian, Carsten Andrich, Christian Schneider, Tobias Nowack, Thomas Dallmann, and Reiner Thomä. I will be presenting our results at the event on October 28.
