What does it take to make technology accessible?
For Anagha Rajeev, the answer comes from experience. During COVID-19, she volunteered to teach children in rural India and saw how quickly people can be left behind when education moves online without access to devices or reliable internet.
To her, responsible digitalisation means building technology that is accessible, purposeful, and designed around real people. Today, she brings that perspective into her work on IND, where Netcompany is building a new identification and registration system for the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service.
Her story is part of our series exploring what responsible digitalisation means in practice, through the perspectives of our people.

Working in tech when the world is obsessed with AI creates many existential crisis-inducing moments on whether we are actually making the world better or worse.
Thank you Anne for giving a voice to my inner conflicts and sharing them so eloquently! Grateful that Netcompany creates space to reflect on this dichotomy while building technology that genuinely touches the lives of people. ✨

The digital revolution has democratized access to information and education, transcending geographical barriers.
Students from remote rural backgrounds now have access to educational resources previously confined to urban centers. The ability to receive coaching online, regardless of location, has leveled the playing field, enabling individuals in places like Leh or Arunachal Pradesh to access the same knowledge as those in major cities.
This widespread accessibility is a significant breakthrough, empowering more people to compete and develop in trade and product innovation on a global scale. #EdTech#DigitalEducation#InformationAccess#GlobalLearning#RuralEmpowerment
Binti Tech Day 2026, held in commemoration of International Girls in ICT Day, brought together young girls from Gerezani Secondary School, Kisutu Secondary School, and participants from Kigoma for an interactive digital learning experience.
Through sessions on digital safety, artificial intelligence, and robotics, participants demonstrated strong engagement, curiosity, and a clear desire to continue learning.
What stood out most were the reflections from the participants:
– Applying digital safety knowledge at home
– Connecting AI to their daily lives
– Encouraging other girls to explore technology
These outcomes highlight the importance of continued investment in digital skills development for young girls.
We appreciate the support and collaboration of Enabel , UN Women Tanzania, and The Embassy of Belgium.
This is not a one-time engagement, it is a foundation for sustained impact.

One thing I am deeply passionate about is catching them young. 💙
I strongly believe that early exposure can change the direction of a young person’s life forever. When teenagers are introduced to technology, innovation, and digital opportunities at an early stage, they begin to see beyond limitations and start believing in possibilities they may never have imagined for themselves.
That is why initiatives like the Teenagers in Tech outreach mean so much to me. Even though I was not physically present at this particular outreach, I am proud to be part of a team committed to helping young minds discover their potential early enough.
The world is changing rapidly, and the future will belong to young people who are equipped with the right skills, mindset, and confidence to innovate and solve problems. From robotics to drone technology and digital skills, every exposure plants a seed of curiosity, creativity, and ambition in these students.
For me, it is not just about tech it is about giving young people hope, direction, and the confidence to dream bigger. It is about helping them realize that they too can build, create, lead, and make impact globally regardless of their background.
I am excited about every opportunity to contribute to shaping the next generation of innovators, leaders, and problem-solvers. Because when we invest in young minds today, we are building a better future for tomorrow.

🚀 SECONDARY SCHOOL TECH OUTREACH 2025
On the 5th of November, 2025, the Teenagers in Tech Initiative visited Government Secondary School, Lugbe, Abuja, for an impactful outreach themed:
✨ “Tech Skills for Tomorrow’s Leaders” ✨
We engaged about 80 SS3 Science students (37 girls and 43 boys, with an average age of 15 years) in an eye-opening session focused on the endless opportunities within the tech space.
During the outreach, we explored:
💻 Tech Skills as a Complementary Skill and a Standalone Profession
🌍 Benefits of Tech Proficiency
🔥 Inspiring Success Stories
🛠️ How to Get Started in Tech
The session was facilitated by an amazing team:
🎤 Oluwadunsin Olufemi led the presentation session.
🚁 Emmanuel Adebayo coordinated the practical drone flying experience.
🎙️ Aanu Fakehinde interviewed the students to capture their thoughts and experiences.
🤖 Akinbode Adeboyejo handled the Robotics Foundation session.
One of the highlights of the outreach was the drone-flying practical session—the students were excited, curious, and highly engaged. They asked thoughtful questions, and we were happy to provide answers and guidance.
We also interviewed two students, a boy and a girl, to hear their reflections. While they had heard about opportunities in tech before, they shared that this program gave them a deeper understanding and greater enlightenment about the possibilities available to them.
At Teenagers in Tech Initiative, we believe exposure creates possibilities. Every teenager deserves the opportunity to discover, learn, and build for the future.
The future belongs to young people who are ready to learn, adapt, and innovate. 💡
Thumbs up to all our team members: Damilola OLUFEMI, James Oluwadare, Damilare Ogunjobi, sheyi oyename, Temitayo Emiola, Juliet Ibenegbu, and David Oyename for their efforts towards the success of the program.
Together We,

Something I keep thinking about as a BBIT student building real systems in Tanzania.
We are living through the most exciting time in tech history.
1. The tools available to students today would have required a full team five years ago
2. African entrepreneurs who master AI and automation now have a real advantage
3. What I learn in networking class connects directly to what I build with n8n
I document everything at Mwijay Davie Tech.
What tech skill are you investing in right now?
