Not work related -- but I've set some random goals for 2026. One of them was to walk A LOT. It started this past winter as a way to get outside even when it was FRIGID. It started simple: if I could walk home, no matter where I ended up, I did. 4 miles, turned into 10, turned into 15, and this weekend I achieved my goal of walking 24 miles in a day. I walked across 6 New York bridges (and have been dubbed "bridge girl" at the office lol). I didn't have any deep epiphanies, but it's a perfect way to see the city and just slow down. I documented the walk 😅 I'm cringing at my video, but I'm proud of the achievement💅 Hope everyone stayed sane this winter!
Brava Natalie! and sharing a post here about the benefits of walking from a French Cardio Doctor...(also a good way to practise French:) https://www.linkedin.com/posts/claire-mounier-vehier-4115181a9_santaez-bouger-marche-activity-7421265460031283200-C7fn?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAAAIt7PMB93osG1ZJuK9MFyyMXXFo_kDhwm8
A true Manhattanite 👟 I recently loved walking Jones Beach end-to-end (about 6 miles) during Fake Spring the other week. I'll try Rockaway Beach end-to-end (about 10 miles) when it warms up again! ☀️
Whoa, this is incredible 🙌 -- and your video is awesome
So impressive 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Natalie Pao favorite bridge?
Love this! You basically walked an entire marathon 😀
You are inspiring, Natalie!
Perhaps cheesy to say, but it has been fun to follow your progress to crushing this goal! It’s very impressive, congratulations!
We just had a “Walk on the Park” Wellness walk today in our adult community with 113 participants! We had people with walkers and canes walk. It was a great success and so go for our well being. Let’s Keep 🚶🏼♀️➡️👩🏻🦯➡️🧑🏽🦽➡️
