Quick Tip for Articulate Rise: Keep Your Course Lightweight Images are often the biggest contributors to course size. If your Rise project uses many JPGs, convert them to WEBP instead. You’ll typically see 40–50% smaller file sizes with no noticeable loss in quality—especially helpful on image-heavy courses. Do this: Replace JPG assets with WEBP versions before uploading to Rise.

While you sleep, someone in the world is taking your course. That’s what online education looks like in 2025 — but only when everything is set up right. According to eLearning Industry, up to 40% of course creators burn out within their first year. The main reason isn’t a lack of ideas — it’s the routine: manually granting access, sending certificates, and checking tests. Softbook takes that burden off your shoulders: • course access opens automatically after payment; • test grading can be fully automated; • certificates are generated instantly. You just see the analytics, the student progress — and the best part? Your course keeps running even while you rest.

Creating an online course? Pricing can make or break your launch. Often times online courses are set according to "perceived value" but not necessarily according to true market value. We've put together this UK-focused guide to provide you with a more researched strategy for setting tiered pricing, anchors, payment plans and testing so you can create online course pricing that converts — without scaring learners away. https://lnkd.in/eJ5MNXi4

How I prepare lessons for students online: I use interactive slides and visuals, I prepare each topics using slides and include diagrams, charts relating to them. Also, I try to break concepts into simpler terms, this is to enable proper and adequate understanding of what is being taught. Moreover, I do add practice questions inorder to boost their confidence, to test their capacity, what they've retained in their memory and areas where they needed help. Since every child learns differently, what I do is that I handle them separately based on their memory retention. in this aspect I tried as much as possible to be flexible. #Virtualtutoring #learningtechniques #lessonpreparation.

I was looking through certain courses yesterday on LinkedIn, simply because I was looking to upskill in a certain field. However I made some observations on the graphics, some of these academies or tutors had. The graphics were either stunning but when it comes to the actual details of the course, it’s hard to find clarity. I also noticed some were too busy and honestly not so eye-catching, even the ones added on their selar description. Graphics can draw you in, but what really helps learners decide is a clear outline: 1. What the course covers 2. How it’s structured 3. What you’ll gain by the end. Without these, I often hesitate or end up on YouTube, where at least I can see if the content matches what I need. Why? because I wouldn't want a situation where, I begin to feel it wasn't worth my investment. I do a lot of research before taking courses, from checking out feedback to asking the tutor questions if possible. It’s a small thing, but it makes a huge difference. Pairing beautiful visuals with clear descriptions shows respect for your audience and builds trust, helping people confidently invest their time and resources. I have also discovered that some courses are actually worth investing in, but the quality of the graphics used for publicity doesn't do justice to it. I’m curious, what’s your experience with course graphics and clarity? Do detailed descriptions influence your decision to sign up, or do you rely more on visuals?

When it comes to designing learning experiences with faculty, we need to be on the same page. An online course should strike a balance between content and assessments. No one wants a course built on 500 PowerPoint slides, just like no one wants a course overloaded with assessments. When you find the right balance, that’s when the magic happens. https://lnkd.in/ebb-CnMX
