Astronomers have discovered a planet some 140 light-years from Earth that is rapidly crumbling to pieces due to its close proximity to its star. As the roasting planet whizzes along its orbit, it is shedding its surface minerals and effectively evaporating away. https://lnkd.in/e3JUTNrV

Really sure? 140 solar years away and a small phenomenon like the consumption of mount Everest every year over 1 million years. Are you really sure of your data? As an indicative comparison, could you tell us what is the annual weight gain of earth in Everest units?
