I’m honestly too full of emotion today to say everything tumbling through my head. So I’ll just say this… I believe teachers are shaped by their communities, and I have been shaped by so many of YOU — my graduate school colleagues and friends, my mentors, my family, my department and campus colleagues, and my network of teaching-focused professionals across conferences, universities, and digital spaces. Truly, thank you for making me the teacher I am. And a special thank you to my mom (a lifelong elementary school teacher), my grandmother “Nuna” (who studied to be a home economics teacher before she had to leave school to take care of her family), and my great-grandmother (who taught in a one-room schoolhouse in rural Georgia). The love of learning you passed down to me is a rich inheritance. Through me, that love has now touched thousands of students’ lives.
I observed you teaching last week, this makes total sense! Huge cheers my friend 🎉
I’ve seen the relentless effort, preparation, and energy you put into every class - the way you show up for your students again and again. Your passion and hard work make a real difference in the world. So proud of you! ❤️
YESSSS so well-deserved. You are blazing trails and doing such meaningful work.
Your students, our department, and the university are so lucky to learn from you and be inspired by your passion!
THIS IS INCREDIBLE, DR. RODAK! I am not surprised, but this is such an accomplishment. GO YOU! I am celebrating you from afar!
Congratulations! You are most deserving of this honor.
Miranda (Yaggi) Rodak, Ph.D. Very well deserved! You are a true teaching leader who gives your very best to both your students and your teaching colleagues. Congratulations!
As a former student, seeing your passion firsthand in the classroom, I couldn't think of anyone more deserving. You've shaped so many of us into the people (and professionals) we are today. Many congrats to you! 👏
congratulations!
Congratulations Miranda!!
