New Finding — Microsoft 365 Copilot App Crashes We’ve published a new finding related to crashes in m365copilot.exe, specifically version 19.2604, faulting in ucrtbase.dll. What we’re seeing: Observed across 600+ organizations Trend began increasing near the end of April Classified as medium severity Impact depends on how heavily users rely on Microsoft 365 Copilot features May affect Copilot Hub functionality, cross-app Copilot experiences, or AI-assisted workflows across Microsoft 365 At this point, there is no documented root cause or validated resolution. The crash pattern appears strongly associated with the recent 19.2604 release, so we’ll continue monitoring for changes or future Microsoft guidance. 📄 Full finding: https://bit.ly/4tvORb1 This is part of our ongoing IT Crash & Stability Findings work, where ControlUp uses anonymized telemetry across customer environments to identify emerging application and service stability issues early. You can browse the full list of findings here: https://bit.ly/4flSiNQ If you’re seeing similar crashes or have additional version details, please share in the thread. Community feedback helps validate the scope and identify useful patterns faster.
