AI wasn’t just the biggest tech story of the year — it became a direct driver of profit, cost structure, and competitive advantage. For CEOs, the real takeaway isn’t experimentation anymore; it’s execution. Companies using AI to compress decision cycles, reduce operating costs, and scale expertise are pulling ahead, while others risk margin erosion and slower growth. This analysis breaks down how AI reshaped every major business trend — and why leadership decisions in the next 12–24 months will determine winners and laggards. 👉 https://lnkd.in/g8Jd75Wj #CEOInsights #Profitability #EnterpriseAI #BusinessStrategy #DigitalTransformation #OperationalEfficiency #CompetitiveAdvantage #Leadership #MITechNews #Boardroom #GrowthStrategy

You invested in AI for finance, but the value is unclear. ROI friction holds back you and your team. I see this gap often. Widespread AI trials rarely produce lasting value. True progress comes when you tie AI efforts to cost owners with clear accountability. Integration without clarity only breeds friction. Focus on fewer, high-leverage use cases. Empower your cost owners to track impact. Avoid piling new tools on legacy systems without fixing the basics. **Where do you see the biggest disconnect between AI promise and delivered value?** Agree? Share your take. Boss Today recently included my perspective in a piece on how AI is reshaping trust between leadership and workforce. The conversation focused on something I see constantly: organizations reaching for AI oversight tools precisely when trust is already fragile. The technology becomes a symptom, not a solution. You can't automate your way out of a trust deficit. It's a topic that matters because the temptation is real—AI promises visibility and control. But visibility without trust just amplifies the underlying problem. Grateful to contribute to this conversation. #AIinBusiness #OrganizationalTrust #Leadership

Research across leadership, private equity, and AI adoption highlights four practices that consistently improve execution. 1. Choose fewer priorities. 2. Stay close to the work. 3. Treat time as capital. 4. Remove low‑value tasks. These practices reinforce one another. Build one and the others begin to strengthen naturally. 𝐀𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰, 𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢-𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧-𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬: 𝐈𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐞? This is the hidden challenge of the 𝐀𝐈 𝐞𝐫𝐚. It's not about getting a response; it's about knowing the quality of that response. An AI, fed with a prompt, is like a GPS you've just turned on. It will give you a route—a plausible, logical path from A to B. But it doesn't know about the unexpected road closure two miles ahead. And it certainly doesn't have the 20 years of experience to know that this "faster" highway always gets jammed on a Friday afternoon. The greatest danger for leaders right now isn't that AI will be wrong; it's that it will be plausibly 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐞. We risk filling our strategies and products with perfectly average ideas simply because the AI generated them and they "𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭" This is where true leadership comes in. Our most important job is to build a culture of healthy skepticism and expert validation. Here's how I'm starting to think about it: 𝐍𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭, 𝐀𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐲 - The AI's output is the starting point, never the finishing line. The first question from the team should always be, "What might be missing here?" 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 '𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐏𝐈' - An AI can't replace the gut feeling of your veteran salesperson. When the AI gives you an answer, your next step should be to run it by the person on your team who just knows. Their "no, that feels wrong" is more valuable than ever. 𝐑𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 "𝐖𝐡𝐲" - Celebrate the team members who challenge the AI's output and can articulate why it's not the best answer. They are the guardians of your company's soul. AI is a brilliant machine for generating 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬. Our teams' job is to be the engine of 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. And in that gap, all the value is created. #AILeadership #CriticalThinking #Strategy #FutureOfWork #DecisionMaking #Expertise #Leadership #DigitalTransformation #AIforLeaders #AILiterate #ChangeMakers

I've been reflecting on the interplay between strategy, execution, org design and the evolving impact of AI on the most human elements of the three. We often frame strategy and execution as opposites, vision versus detail, direction vs delivery. In reality, they’re deeply intertwined. When the boundary between them blurs, it’s easy to mistake depth of involvement for clarity of direction, or to miss whether attention to detail reflects a true exception or a pattern that should be scaled. This is where organizational design has the power to tip the scales. How roles, decision rights, and accountability are structured determines whether strategy remains directional and execution stays empowered. Even subtle shifts in these levers can create outsized effects on clarity, alignment, and outcomes. AI is adding a new dimension to this dynamic by accelerating access to information, compressing decision cycles, and amplifing the consequences of blurred boundaries. Curious to hear how others are thinking about the balance between strategy, execution, and organizational design in today’s fast-moving environment especially as AI reshapes both the possibilities and the trade-offs. #StrategyAndExecution #OrganizationalDesign #Leadership #AIinBusiness #FutureOfWork

AI isn't just changing what we build. It's changing how we work. Our leadership team recently unpacked why the old IT playbook is dying—and what's replacing that approach. We captured four standout insights from Pete Reilly, Jim Johnson, Alon Goren, and Shanti Greene on: ⚡ Why quarterly release cycles can't survive when models change weekly ⚡ The new skill combinations that matter more than deep expertise ⚡ Why generalists are suddenly winning in the AI era ⚡ The mindset shift that separates teams who adapt from teams who stall The pattern across all four perspectives? Success requires continuous learning, cross-functional thinking, and comfort with constant change. The teams that embrace this will thrive. The ones waiting for stability won't. 📄 See what each leader had to say in the carousel below. #AIActually #AITransformation #ITLeadership #EnterpriseAI #FutureOfWork #ChangeManagement
