Mays Business School has launched the Center for Applied Entrepreneurship and Innovation, positioning Aggies at the center of the booming Texas economy by helping students identify and pursue entrepreneurial pathways grounded in real opportunity, real markets, and real execution. Experienced startup founder Levi Belnap will lead the center in its work alongside entrepreneurship and innovation efforts across Texas A&M University and Texas A&M University System to expand pathways for students and industry partners. “Entrepreneurship is not something that begins with a ribbon cutting. It begins with conversations, experiments, and real market engagement. We’ve already started that work with students, former students, and partners, and we’ll continue building the center in the same entrepreneurial way we teach,” said Belnap. I could not be more excited about Levi’s vision and leadership, or about all the ways the Center for Applied Entrepreneurship and Innovation will help our students and elevate our school!
Excited to see Aggies lead the way here!
Congrats Levi and congrats Nate! Excited to see this get off the ground and looking forward to collaborating on lots of fun things!
Love this for my junior in high school that wants to be an entrepreneur and will be applying to TAMU in August!
Congratulations. Can’t wait to see how things help my Mays student when she graduates.
Love to see it! Aggie entrepreneurship to the moon 🚀
Thank you for inspiring more entrepreneurship at Texas A&M! Congrats, Levi Belnap!
Let’s go!! Excited to see what happens with this. 😎 Great work, Nate Sharp and Levi Belnap. 👍🏻
Centers like this matter when they anchor entrepreneurship in real markets and real execution, not just pitch competitions. Students benefit most when they leave with: • Evidence of solving a real problem • Exposure to customer discovery • Experience navigating ambiguity • Clear proof of market engagement That kind of signal travels well beyond campus and into hiring conversations, investor meetings, and early-stage roles. Encouraging to see Texas A&M leaning into applied entrepreneurship in a way that connects students directly to the Texas economy.
