I stand with the people of my home country, Iran, in their fight for freedom against the oppressive and savage regime of the Islamic Republic. It has been more than 24 hours since a complete internet and landline blackout, while in countless cities and small towns, the nation is gathering with their bare hands to protest against the violent regime of the ayatollahs. As I write this, there are unofficial reports of more than 200 people killed by armed government forces. We are witnessing a revolution. Let us be their voice and stand up for the fearless presence of a nation on the streets of Iran and hope that their sacrifice flourishes into the bright future they deserve. #iran
