Thank you for sharing this, Mark. There is something profoundly humbling about listening to someone speak from a place where titles, accomplishments, and recognition no longer seem to be the center of the conversation. When mortality enters the room, the noise of life often becomes quieter and what truly matters becomes clearer. Ben's accomplishments speak for themselves, but what stood out to me is the courage it takes to speak with honesty, conviction, and grace while walking a road few would choose. That kind of strength reaches people differently. Wishing Ben and his family peace, strength, and moments of deep meaning in the days ahead.

Ben Sasse is one of the "good guys." When he passes, the nation will miss him greatly, even if they didn't know him. He is an example of what we should all aspire to in public service, even if we are not in elected office. In addition to this video, there is a great interview with him on 60 Minutes.
