This week, I have had the pleasure of spending an evening with my Harvard Business School friends, Professors Karim Lakhani and Tarun Khanna, Aspire Institute CEO Meena Sonea, and several distinguished business leaders. It was an opportunity for us to discuss the incredible work that the Aspire Institute is doing to elevate the next generation of global leaders and how to accelerate their impact. Aspire is a leadership program designed to empower first-generation college students from underrepresented backgrounds worldwide. Their mission is to unlock potential by providing students with the skills, knowledge, and global connections needed to lead in their communities and beyond. Quite literally, to help them "aspire" to greater things. Aspire already makes a profound impact on over 60,000 students annually, across 195 countries. And their ambitions don't stop there—the goal is to touch at least one million students annually in the next few years.
