Today marks a day where I can't help but feel the universe works in mysterious ways. My sister just matched into her dream residency program - Harvard’s MGH, Mass General Hospital - for internal medicine. And today is exactly four years since my dad passed away. What makes this even more special? 15 years ago, this same hospital offered my dad a job that changed our family's trajectory forever. We moved from Barcelona to Boston, setting us on entirely new paths. I can't stop thinking about how proud my dad would be. His dream was to have at least one of his kids follow in his footsteps. And my sister has done exactly that. She's not just doing her residency at the hospital he loved, but she's also pursuing oncology - his specialty. It feels like the perfect continuation of his legacy. When I look at my siblings, I see so many of the values he instilled in us: following your passion, surrounding yourself with great people, having no fear, maintaining high standards, always learning. These past few years have been challenging, but today I'm incredibly proud of my family and thankful for everything my dad gave us. We miss him every day, but his legacy lives on - not just professionally as one of the most influential oncologists in history, but as a compassionate human who always put patients first. We'll keep making you proud, Dad.
Felicidades a toda la familia Marc, seguro vuestro padre está orgulloso!
