An AI agent can execute perfectly and still fail to fulfil the order. It’s because AI agents operate in real time, while most commerce stacks don’t. Take a straightforward commerce flow, for example - - The agent checks availability, places the order, and then triggers fulfilment. - The storefront shows the item in stock. But the warehouse feed is a few minutes behind. Somewhere else, the last units have already been reserved. - The AI agent did exactly what it was designed to do. But because most of the attention is still on the model, we don't realise that the risk sits in the systems around it. At Trika, one of the teams that we were working with was facing a similar issue, and we addressed this by keeping the underlying systems tightly aligned. We fixed this by : - Moving inventory and order sync to live event streams across ERPs, OMS, and PIMs. Agents now query current data instead of delayed feeds. - Shifting fulfilment and tracking flows out of manual reconciliation and into configurable workflows managed by business teams. - Wired the Next.js storefront to the same live signals the warehouse sees, with monitoring in place to catch issues early. When these connections stay tight, agent behaviour starts to look much closer to what teams expected going in. Model capability will keep improving. Production success, though, is usually decided when we take every system into account, and not just a part of it. #ComposableArchitecture #EnterpriseSystems #AIOps

“Most Logistics Companies Don’t Need AI. They Need Data Discipline First.” AI is everywhere in logistics conversations right now. Most companies don’t need AI first. They need data discipline. Before AI delivers value, you need: 1️⃣ Clean master data 2️⃣ Standardized processes 3️⃣ Integrated systems (ERP, TMS, Customs, WMS) 4️⃣ Reliable historical datasets 5️⃣ Clear exception handling rules Without this foundation, AI simply amplifies inconsistency. In our automation initiatives, we’ve seen the biggest gains not from “advanced AI” — but from structured data + controlled workflows. AI works best when layered on operational maturity. Are logistics companies investing in AI — or in readiness for AI? #ArtificialIntelligence #LogisticsTech #DigitalTransformation #SupplyChainInnovation

Don’t tell me AI in commerce implementation is just hype. I’ve seen it shrink timelines from months to weeks. At Trika Technologies, code that used to take 3–6 months now takes 1–2. Integrations that require full teams are handled automatically. Testing and optimization? AI runs them predictively, catching errors before they happen. This doesn’t just help with faster launches. - It’s leaner teams. - Lower costs. - Fewer post-launch fixes. Trika’s cQube platform syncs ERP, OMS, and sales channels in real time. Custom workflows, predictive inventory, and SEO-optimized storefronts go live in days. Sales cycles shorten. Ops costs drop. Companies piloting AI personalization first see 15–25% metric gains before scaling to full predictive systems. This is real, measurable change. Weeks beat months. And AI makes it seamless. #EnterpriseCommerce #AppliedAI #CommercePlatforms

Agentic AI isn’t the future — it’s already reshaping warehouse and production flow in 2026. 🤖⚙️ The SupplyChainBrain analysis (2 Feb 2026) illustrates how Vision AI + digital twins + agentic AI are allowing CPG operations to shift from periodic review cycles to autonomous, real‑time execution. Vision AI is already detecting pallet damage, verifying labels and highlighting bottlenecks instantly, while agentic workflows drive throughput and accuracy https://lnkd.in/exVcUYKB From an SAP perspective, this aligns perfectly with SAP Digital Manufacturing, SAP BTP orchestration and SAP Business Network for multi‑node synchronisation. In EMEA’s high‑SKU, multi‑channel CPG environment, autonomy reduces waste, stockouts and manual decision lag — especially as talent shortages persist. The winners will be firms that treat AI as an operational engine, not an experiment. Where could autonomous execution remove the most friction in your supply chain? #CPG #SAP #DigitalManufacturing #AI #AgenticAI #SupplyChainAutomation #BTP #SmartFactory #EMEA #Industry40

Seamless Supply Chain Optimization Through Autonomous AI Agents Did you know that automating supply chains can boost throughput by 20%? Many small and growing businesses still rely on spreadsheets, leading to costly stock-outs and wasted inventory. The old way keeps errors and delays out of the picture, but new AI-powered agents can control demand, routing, and sourcing in real-time. TOP Development's autonomous AI agents reduce inventory costs by up to 25% and cut shipping expenses by 10% per quarter. - Improve demand forecasting - Speed up carrier selection - Detect and resolve supply disruptions - Integrate seamlessly with ERP/WMS For growing businesses, this means faster delivery, lower costs, and stronger customer trust. If you are selling enterprise AI in 2026, the conversation has shifted. Six months ago, everyone wanted to talk about models and “copilots.” Now, the deals that move are about very specific work: “Can you clear this SAP backlog, shorten this approval time by 30 percent, reduce these exceptions?” In my world at Karini AI, the pattern that keeps closing doors or opening them is simple: The buyers who are leaning in know exactly which metric they want to move in the next 90 days. The ones who stall out are still framing AI as “innovation” instead of a line item on a scorecard. What has actually worked for us recently: 1. Starting every conversation with “Which workflow and KPI are you willing to be judged on first?” 2. Designing one agent for that slice of work and ignoring everything else, even if the platform can do more. 3. Bringing security, data, and change management into the first call instead of the last. If you are on the buy side, what is the one workflow and KPI you are willing to put on the table for AI in Q2? #EnterpriseAI #AgenticAI #B2BSaaS #GoToMarket #RevenueLeadership

Supply chains don’t just need more visibility. They need self-awareness. In a recent piece on the push toward self-aware supply chains, Siddharth Ram, VP of Consumer Products, Retail, and Services at Capgemini, highlights a critical shift: moving from dashboards that describe what happened to intelligent systems that interpret signals, assess root causes, and guide or execute decisions in real time. What stood out to me: AI and agentic AI are changing how decisions get made, not just how fast Data readiness remains the biggest barrier, with siloed ERP, TMS, and WMS systems limiting ROI The most successful organizations are starting with practical, fast-impact use cases like forecasting, order management, and supplier scorecards before scaling autonomy As Sid notes, the ambition around self-aware supply chains has existed for years. What’s different now is that the tools, data, and leadership commitment are finally aligning to make it real. The takeaway is clear: this is not about automating old processes. It’s about rethinking decision-making across the entire enterprise. https://lnkd.in/eDkdWsHm #SupplyChain #AI #AgenticAI #IntelligentIndustry #MakeItReal

The real question isn't WHETHER Agentic AI will transform supply chains. It's HOW. How do you plug AI agents into legacy ERPs that still run on decade-old logic? How do you build trust in autonomous decisions when one wrong reroute = ₹50L loss? How do you start — when your data sits in 5 systems that don't talk to each other? The vision is clear. The execution path isn't. I've been working on this exact problem — building AI-powered control towers for Indian logistics operations. Happy to collaborate with supply chain leaders who want to move from strategy decks to live agents. Let's solve the HOW together. DMs open.
