Everyone is “in transformation” right now. New strategy. New structure. New systems. But here’s the truth: transformation doesn’t fail because of the plan. It fails on the people side. If leaders aren’t aligned... If managers aren’t equipped... If the why isn’t clear... It stalls. This report from Catalant is a great pulse check on how companies are approaching transformation — and a reminder that change isn’t an event. It’s a leadership capability. Too many organizations aren’t stuck because they lack insight; they’re stuck because they expect insight to arrive as a fully baked answer. Insight is evidence, not a decision. When leaders wait for “actionable insight” to magically resolve trade‑offs, set priorities, and mitigate risk, movement dies in the space between knowing and doing. That’s not a CX problem. It’s a leadership discipline problem. CX teams surface patterns, friction, and opportunity, and leaders turn evidence into movement. Mature organizations make insight obligatory: ✔️ Someone owns the response ✔️ A decision is required ✔️ Follow‑through is visible When insight flows through a system designed for action, the Golden Thread holds: 🧵 values → decisions → behaviors → outcomes Stop asking insights to do the work of leaders. Evidence informs. Leaders decide. Change happens! #data #insight #leadership #culture #action #goldenthread https://lnkd.in/gakQKNRB

Traditional corporate functions are too slow for cross-functional problems. Deloitte found that 66% of C-suite leaders think they need to move beyond traditional functional boundaries, but only 7% say they are making real progress. That gap matters. AI value does not sit neatly in HR, IT, Finance, or Operations. It shows up where those functions actually work together. The message is clear: redesign the flow, not just the boxes. Otherwise, “transformation” becomes an expensive relay race with too many baton drops. How much of your operating model is truly end-to-end and how much is just a polite collection of handoffs? #OrganizationalDesign #AI #BPM #ChangeManagement #StrategyExecution #Leadership Read more: https://lnkd.in/eepQvsQF

We’re entering a phase where vendor responsibility is shifting. Gartner predicts that this year, a significant share of enterprise applications will embed AI agents that take action, not just the sort that provide access to tools. What that does is alter the contract between organizations and their technology partners; instead, we’ll increasingly be buying outcomes rather than just licences. I expect this to be a big change to how we govern systems, assign accountability and structure teams. #digitalinsideout #digitalTransformation #cioplaybook #digital #CIO #leadership ♻️ Kindly repost to help others Follow me for more leadership tips.

Why are companies getting rid of their CIOs? 😲 Some companies are phasing out the traditional CIO role because technology leadership is no longer just about running IT—it’s about shaping strategy and business outcomes. Alexander Procter discusses it in his article, here: https://lnkd.in/gYbCXdgj

Couldn't agree more — I've seen brilliant strategies gather dust because the leadership team wasn't truly bought in or the middle managers had no toolkit to cascade the change. This report sounds like a timely reality check on what actually moves the needle.
