"𝐅𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞." That’s what made the difference for Macy Francesca Servidad-Guinto. During the pandemic, she put on some weight and found herself feeling constantly fatigued—low on energy, unmotivated, and not quite like herself. As life returned to normal, she knew something had to change. “𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰—𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘭, 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘧 𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧, 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘯𝘫𝘰𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘵.” So she started small—focusing on eating better. No extreme diets, no counting calories. Just small, intentional changes. That first step led to another, then another, until fitness became a natural part of her life. Now, as Senior Director, Global and Regional Acquirers at Visa, leading a team while juggling life as a wife, daughter, and friend, Macy makes fitness a non-negotiable. How? 💡 𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬. “I block it off, and everyone knows. If I have to skip a session, that’s the exception—not the rule.” 🏋️ 𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐮𝐩. Barre, Pilates, and Strength Training near the office on weekdays. Every Sunday, she plans and pre-books her classes. No excuses. 👫 𝐒𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞. “It’s harder to say no when it’s a 1:1 session or a paid session. You’re much more likely to show up.” The impact? Sharper focus, better decision-making, and higher productivity. “Before, work felt endless. But now, if I need to leave by 6 PM, I make the day productive.” What’s next? She’s turning workouts into quality time with her husband—starting with getting him to join her for Pilates! If you’re struggling to start, Macy’s advice is simple: 𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘬𝘪𝘥𝘴. 𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘭. 𝘙𝘰𝘰𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘧𝘶𝘭, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘴. Because at the end of the day, the best investment you can make—for yourself, your career, and your loved ones—is your health. 💬 I’m sharing these stories on 𝑺𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝑬𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒕𝒚 to show that it’s possible to prioritize health while thriving in your career. Macy has done it. So can you!
