May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and one truth many professionals need to hear is this: your career should never come at the expense of your well-being. Too often, workplace culture rewards overextending, overperforming, and pushing through emotional exhaustion without acknowledging the human cost behind it. But constantly pouring from an empty vessel is not sustainable leadership. It is survival mode. The healthiest professionals are not the ones who sacrifice themselves endlessly for organizational success. They are the ones who understand that sustainable excellence requires boundaries, rest, support systems, and psychological safety. Protect your peace unapologetically. Your health matters too.

⚡ Mental Health Matters — On & Off Site ⚡ This Mental Health Awareness Week, we want to highlight the importance of mental health within the electrical and construction industry. Our sector is built on hard work, resilience, and teamwork — but behind every project, deadline, and installation are people managing pressures both at work and at home. Long hours, demanding environments, and the day-to-day challenges of the trade can all have an impact on mental wellbeing. While physical safety is always a priority on site, mental health deserves the same level of attention and support. At Frontline, we believe creating a strong workplace culture means looking after each other beyond the job itself. A simple conversation, checking in with a colleague, or encouraging someone to speak up can make a real difference. No one should feel they have to struggle in silence. 🧠 Look after yourself 👷 Look out for your team 💬 Speak openly when things feel too much 🤝 Support one another without judgement Together, we can continue building a safer, healthier, and more supportive industry for everyone. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #MentalHealthMatters #ConstructionIndustry

Working in construction and logistics is full of challenges. Early starts, demanding days, lots happening both on and off site and pressures to deliver tight programmes often means people don’t have the capacity to speak up when they’re struggling. At MCG Logistics, we recognise how important it is to try and build cultures where people check in, look out for one another and feel there is support available when things aren’t going to plan. Mental Health Awareness Week is a good reminder for employers and employees that taking action doesn’t always need to be something big, it’s the little things that count too. It’s one of the key reasons we’ve partnered with Mates in Mind, to help us strengthen the ways we champion wellbeing awareness for our people across all our teams. Wellbeing is all of our responsibility and we want everyone to feel like they have help available no matter what. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #TakeAction #Construction #Logistics #Wellbeing

🧭 Leadership Perspective | Mental Health Is Safety At Conductor Power, our “W” POWER value stands for Wellbeing and Safety. That means safety is more than what happens on a jobsite. It also includes how we support the mental health and wellbeing of the people around us. In recognition of Mental Health Month, our Director of People Operations, Jennie Dolzal, shared a thoughtful perspective on why mental health is safety, and how simple, intentional actions can help strengthen our teams. 💬 “Mental health is also deeply personal. What works for one of us may not work for another. When we take care of our mental wellbeing, we improve our focus, awareness, and decision-making. We reduce risk. We strengthen our teams, and how they operate under pressure. We prevent accidents before they happen.” Read Jennie’s full perspective here: https://lnkd.in/gbrwCU3v #Leadership #CompanyCulture #PeopleFirst #ThoughtLeadership #MentalHealthMonth

As #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek comes to a close in the UK, reinforcing our commitment to making Interocean a healthy, supportive place to work across our locations globally. We treat mental health as a core part of our safety culture, because mental wellbeing directly shapes how we work, how we connect, and how we stay safe, across offshore, on-site, remote, and office environments. 𝟯 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻: 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲: build wellbeing into your operational cadence, not just awareness weeks. 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲: create trusted ways for people to speak up early, confidentially if needed. 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲: leadership commitment matters most when it is consistent and practical. This week, we encourage everyone in our team to take one action: check in with a colleague, share a resource, join a session, or simply start a conversation. Mental wellbeing is part of safety. We focus on action, not just awareness. If you are struggling with your mental health, you don't have to do it alone. In the UK, you can contact the Samaritans (116 123) or the NHS (111).

In fast-paced industries like construction and trades, mental wellness is often overlooked, but it matters just as much as physical safety on site. Research shows that: 🔹 1 in 4 people experience a mental health issue each year 🔹 Stress, burnout and fatigue can impact concentration, safety and productivity 🔹 Taking time to rest and reset improves overall performance and wellbeing At Resolution Recruitment LTD, we believe strong teams are built through support, understanding and balance, not just hard work alone. Checking in on yourself and others is important. A conversation, a break, or simply taking time to breathe can make a bigger difference than people realise. Your trade, our talent. 💙 #MentalWellness #ConstructionIndustry #Tradespeople #WellbeingAtWork #MentalHealthAwareness #Recruitment #ConstructionCareers #ResolutionRecruitment #WorkplaceWellbeing
