Stop opening emails with "I hope this email finds you well"

This title was summarized by AI from the post below.

Can we please stop opening emails with “I hope this email finds you well”? It always finds me—usually neck-deep in unread messages, half a decaf in, and wondering why Janet has CC’d half the company again 😉. There are better options:    •   “I hope this email finds you somewhere between meetings and meltdown.”    •   “I hope this email doesn’t ruin your day—but it might.”    •   Or, revolutionary idea: just get to the point.

oh goodness... I use that all the time after a director once told me off for jumping straight to the point in an email....!!! I will have to find something more paletable!!! Hope you are well 😉

I quite like receiving those - at least the hope was a positive one if even optimistically so.

Thanks for sharing, Lyndsey

Do people still open their emails with that line???

I hope this finds you eventually. Please, please read this email, I’m desperate! And if you’re feeling generous, how about clicking the link? Tavrymoochchuck!

Thanks for sharing Lyndsey Taylor . Hope you are well. 🤣

This made me laugh! It’s so true! I do hope this message finds you well though! 😜
