Starting a podcast can feel overwhelming — but it doesn’t have to. Many aspiring podcasters hesitate because they think it’s too technical, too expensive, or too time-consuming. At Audio and Co., we believe everyone’s story deserves to be heard — without worry or hassle. Here’s a simple guide to turning your passion into a podcast: • Start simple: Your phone or a basic microphone is enough for your first episodes. • Plan your content: Focus on topics that inspire you and your audience. • Keep episodes short and engaging to hold energy and listeners’ attention. • Don’t go it alone: Get support for editing and distribution to save time and reduce stress. Jo Day, our founder, launched multiple bestselling audiobooks and has coached over 120 podcasters to launch with confidence. Many were concerned about tech and costs — but with the right support, they found podcasting easy and enjoyable. Your voice matters. You don’t need fancy gear or a big budget. With the right guidance, your passion can become a podcast that connects and motivates. What’s one topic you’re eager to share with the world? Let’s make it happen together!

Are you really learning, or just consuming? 🤔 We live in an age of constant input. Podcasts while running. Audiobooks in the shower. YouTube while commuting (ahem Diary of a CEO listeners…) It feels productive — but often, could it be that we’re falling prey to overconsumption? When your brain is always flooded, there’s no room to actually sit with an idea, reflect, and integrate it into your life or work. Without digestion, even the best insights stay as noise. 🔑 What I do instead: 1. Create pauses. After finishing a podcast or book, spend 5–10 minutes jotting down one key takeaway. 2. Apply immediately. Pick one thing and test it out in your next meeting, project, or conversation. 3. Let silence work. Sometimes the best insights come not from adding more, but from letting your mind connect the dots in stillness. Learning isn’t about how much you consume — it’s about what sticks, and how you use it. 👉 How do you make sure what you listen to actually changes you? I’d love to hear your thoughts! 💭

Why Multi-Platform Storytelling Is the Future of Thought Leadership The Audible October Editors’ List and the release of Kerry Washington’s The Prophecy Season 2 share a powerful theme: creative expansion. This month’s lineup, featuring voices like Tim Curry, Reese Witherspoon, John Grisham, Kerry Washington, and M. Night Shyamalan, reminds us that expertise doesn’t belong to just one format. Films, books, podcasts, and audiobooks each offer a different path to influence. The most impactful creators today know how to translate their story across mediums while keeping their message consistent and authentic. So, if you’re an expert or storyteller thinking about expanding your impact, don’t limit yourself to one lane. Explore how your ideas might resonate in new spaces: a podcast, a YouTube series, an audio course, or a workshop. That’s how you reach new audiences and scale your visibility sustainably. On my current listen list: Grisham, Washington, and Shyamalan each freshly deliver unforgettable storytelling. 🎧 Thanks, Audible, for reminding us that innovation often begins with courage and a great story. #StorytellingStrategy #Podcasting #AIMarketing #ThoughtLeadership #ContentStrategy #CreatorEconomy #PersonalBranding #DigitalMedia #AuthorityBuilding #KerryWashington
