😳 Um. Wow. 🤯 I just delivered a long-form landing page to a dear client. The project is nearing completion. That means we've refined most of the copy, and we're confident we're hitting all the points we want to, the way we want to. So, today I decided to try something wild. I exported the Figma file as a PDF and then fed it into ... 🥁 Drumroll 🥁 NotebookLM! 👀 Look, I didn't know what to expect. After all, wireframes have LOTS of things going on layout-wise! I mean ... I've got boxes, horizontal + vertical flows of elements, logo placeholders, testimonials (meaning, the speaker/POV is another person, not my client's company at all times). Would the AI even be able to piece the whole thing together semantically?? After I uploaded the file, it spat out a summary. I read it and thought, "Dang, not bad! It totally gets what the page is about!" I sat there staring at the screen — it was honestly the first time I ever looked at Notebook LM, so I wasn't sure how I was going to play around with it. Then I saw it. ➡️ That button that turns the thing into a podcast. (I'd already known about the capability because of all the LinkedIn posts talking about it — but I didn't know just how much or little you needed to upload to generate an audio file.) WELL. This thing created a 36-minute conversation — JUST BASED ON THE WIREFRAME. Sorry, I don't mean to shout, but this is next-level. I hit play and nearly choked on my pizza slice. As I sat there listening, first of all, I was blown away. And I got excited. 'Cause I was like, "Damn straight. That IS the exact message I want to convey!!" And then it hit me. This is a powerful, creative way to check your own messaging before going further. Does it speak to the right ICP? Does it present the solution clearly? Does it promise the right things? Does it back up all claims? Does it nail the POV? The list goes on. If anything, it's a great internal check to make sure YOU've hit all the points you wanted to based on your research and strategy. Of course of course, you can still message-test. You can still A/B test. You can do all that. But this is a great way to hear your own work presented back to you. It's like getting that second pair of eyes on your page and gut-checking your message — in a different medium, no less!! I'm so ecstatic I just impulse-typed this whole post.
