I caved and used AI music generation for my work, and it produced surprisingly good results. I may have to walk back my previous comments. That is what I would say if I were a person without backbone, integrity, or indeed, any taste at all. I will never use AI. As part of my summer project writing bits of music to depict scenes from nature, this one has to do with caves, rocks, and crevices. And I made it myself. Without AI. The first two sentences are lies. (Footage from storyblocks)

Can you take a generic, meaningless AI music and then make it better? I think that’d be a blast to hear.

It’s actually genius to trick LinkedIn algorithm because the current system decided to choose GenAI slop as a priority post than a post about real art. Loved the music 🎶 and just curious where was the caves being filmed, it would be nice to check it out in person.

Your opening lines had me worried but intrigued, and then I realised what you were saying. Thank you for continuing to make real music.

As a sax player, I appreciate the alto sax in this piece. I think it's a pretty underutilized instrument in orchestral settings like this. Well done!

You almost had me going there lol!

I'm glad a never said "I never would". I stand by my moral ground of not stealing. I personally find it ok to replicate images of stars and things that nature already produces, so long as I use it for clip art. I can't see it in music, but someone brought up a point that has me thinking- they asked "what if you generated only a standard Blues Bass line in C? Is that not a standardized thing like the key of C?". I still dont have an answer - I use a looper and record my own foundation live and then decorate it. But what if it was practice time and I needed a repetitive phrase to practice on? Maybe there is a use in a practice setting - certainly not in "song writing".
