Lindsay Zohni’s Post

Today I shared a big, bold leap of faith, stepping away from my long-time corporate career and into my new role as CEO of The Growth Option. For a long time, this is a title I would have felt uncomfortable with. It brought up imposter syndrome, fear, and old ways of thinking that kept me playing smaller than I was capable of. I told myself a story about who I was, and it shaped what I believed was possible for my career and my life. Over the past few years, through a deep commitment to my own growth and the support of some incredible coaches, I began to uncover the beliefs driving that story. Beliefs about what I was capable of, the contribution I could make, and what truly motivates me. Alongside this, I stepped into the world of coaching, spending the past 18 months working with individuals and co-founding Deprogram, a platform focused on helping people identify and shift the patterns that hold them back. That experience deepened my conviction in this work and showed me what’s possible when people begin to change the way they see themselves and the world around them. By bringing these patterns into awareness and doing the work to challenge and shift them, I experienced something powerful: More freedom, more possibility, and the ability to think bigger about the life and career I wanted to create. As Nelson Mandela said, “Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it”—something I was recently reminded of by Susan David, Ph.D. at LinkedIn Talent Connect. For me, that means I don’t need to wait to feel confident to take action. Confidence is built by taking action aligned with what matters, one brave step at a time. At The Growth Option, we partner with leaders, teams, and organizations to unlock performance by addressing the underlying beliefs, mindsets, and behavioral patterns that drive results. What makes our work different is our ability to quickly uncover the hidden beliefs that often sit beneath the surface, quietly shaping behavior, limiting growth, and holding individuals and organizations back. Because in our experience, it’s not strategy that holds organizations back. It’s the thinking that sits underneath execution. I’m incredibly excited to be building this alongside an exceptional team. Kevin Janks and Nikki Janks have spent the last 12 years working at the intersection of personal and organizational transformation. We’re also fortunate to be guided by Carolyn Taylor, author of bestselling books Walking the Talk and Accountability at Work, whose work has shaped how organizations around the world think about culture, values, and accountability in practice for decades. While my focus is now fully on building The Growth Option, everything I’ve experienced along the way has led me here, and I’m excited for what’s ahead. Here we go... 🙌

Congratulations Lindsay Zohni you are so right. It took me 12 months to inspire my illustrator to illustrate my book. Everyone knew how good he was, except himself.
