But buried in the buzzwords and booth stunts were real signals for founders building in cybersecurity. We wrote up what we saw, what we’re tracking, and what actually matters as you navigate an innovation-hungry market. From securing AI systems to the rise of identity posture and autonomous SOC — this had signal hidden in the noise. I need to remember the goats thing for our next conference.
This was very helpful. Loved the insights on AI in the SOC. I'm curious if there was much talk about agentic AI on the offensive side or if it was more of an afterthought behind the advancements around autonomous SOCs.
Great reading, thanks for sharing, Kevin. Sad, we couldn't catch up in person. Next time or virtual ...
Excellent recap. Lots of buzz around HRM!
Great article Kevin Skapinetz. Thank you for sharing.
Great writeup Kevin Skapinetz! It's clear that AI is evolving beyond buzzword status to actually becoming the backbone of security architecture. Loved your take on how the conversation has moved to securing LLM pipelines and getting serious about protocol-level controls. Agentic AI in the SOC isn’t just about automation anymore; it’s about building trust, augmenting efforts, and actually making analysts’ lives easier. A number of the big launches drove this point home. And I totally agree that the focus on the “human layer” and the rise of ISPM are long overdue. Thanks for highlighting these trends - always appreciate your perspective. Here’s to more clarity (and perhaps fewer goats) as we keep moving forward!
I did like the monster truck!! Lots of torq(ue)!
Great insights! Goats at booth🤔
Great summary, Kevin Skapinetz !
Christopher Coburn, please tell me Gravedigger was your idea.
