Microsoft's CEO Satya Nadella "Looking Ahead to 2026" note touches on the crucial priorities for AI adoption in 2026. - AI should be viewed as a tool that amplifies human potential, not as a replacement for people. - The real-world impact of AI will grow as we shift from models to integrated systems. - We must make intentional, responsible decisions about how we deploy and scale AI to address the needs of both people and the planet. 3 minutes read at https://lnkd.in/ejRbph38 #ResponsibleAI #2026Trends #ArtificialIntelligence #Microsoft

Hot take from someone building in AI: The next wave of AI products won’t win because they’re smarter. They’ll win because they make people feel less alone while using them. We’ve already optimized for speed. For automation. For output. But the real bottleneck isn’t intelligence anymore...it’s connection. People don’t struggle because they lack answers. They struggle because we’ve become deeply alone in a world that’s never been more connected. So we keep searching for more. Faster. Better. When what we actually need is clarity, focus, and help UNDERSTANDING. In 2026, the products that last won’t just tell you what to do. They’ll help you understand yourself while you’re doing it. That’s the direction I’m building in, and I think the market is more ready than we realize. www.clarady.ai

Predicting the future is never easy, but I do have a few thoughts on ROI in 2026 for AI. Companies like Google and Anthropic will keep releasing more advanced models, and other organizations will continue developing new agents and tools. However, more isn't always better, it's about how all these pieces come together through effective orchestration and integration. You can check out my full thoughts at https://lnkd.in/ebpqCBGD. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

AI is everywhere. Real adoption is still rare. Founders do not need more tools. They need clarity on which AI to use and why it matters for their business. At EO Atlantic Canada, AI workshops focus on practical application. Members work on real problems, choose the right tools, and leave with workflows they can use immediately. Companies that adopt AI with clear use cases see productivity gains of 20 to 30 percent. If you are ready to move beyond hype and into execution, join the conversations happening inside EO Atlantic Canada #AtlanticCanadaBusiness #AIinBusiness #EOAtlantic

Early in covid, I spoke on a virtual panel that got into a lively discussion. We discussed the future of work, and how AI will impact our lives. One of the panelists said that we shouldn't fear AI taking our jobs. I agree, it removes repetition and frees us up to lean into the human skills of creativity and empathy. But then he said "The challenge will be learning what to do with the free time we gain when repetitive tasks are removed." I can't stop thinking about that because I think he got that all wrong. I don't know anyone twiddling their thumbs and wondering what to do with their time. The biggest complaint people have is in not having enough time to spend on what they want. The more we incorporate AI into our work, things will shift. But the shift isn't in figuring out how to spend your free time. It's in redefining the way we look at work today for things like productivity. With AI, productivity looks different. An afternoon of deep thinking doesn't look like an afternoon of checking tasks off. Which has an impact on goals and what we measure. What do you think? Do you know anyone grappling with how to spend their free time?

AI predictions are getting harder than ever Over the holidays, I realized how hard it’s become to predict AI’s trajectory – not just as a tech story, but as one that impacts public trust, policy, and real-world outcomes. Even with solid analysis, uncertainty dominates. Are we past peak AI growth? Can companies operate without public backlash? Will regulation clarify or stifle innovation? And while tools like AlphaFold show AI’s power in science, we must separate genuine breakthroughs from boosterism. This is a must-read for anyone thinking long-term about responsible AI adoption.
