One thing I’ve learned while building teams: Comfort rarely leads to real growth. I often push my team into work I know they can’t fully deliver yet, at least not to my reference or expectations. Not to set them up to fail. But to let them feel the gap. That discomfort is important. It forces new questions. New standards. New ways of thinking. Every time, it moves them one step closer to the quality we’re aiming for. Growth doesn’t come from doing what’s easy or familiar. It comes from struggling a little, reflecting, and trying again.
