One of the practices I’ve adopted to ensure a smooth design handoff is adding design annotations to any screen that might seem confusing or complex. When working on multi-screen flows or high-volume interfaces in Figma, it’s easy for certain connections or logic to get lost during handoff. That’s where annotations come in, they serve as a quick guide for developers, product managers, or anyone on the team to understand how screens connect and why certain design decisions were made. it’s about clarity, communication, and collaboration. If it helps someone understand the user flow faster or eliminates back-and-forth questions later, then it’s worth it. #UXDesign #DesignHandoff #ProductDesign #DesignAnnotations #UserExperience #UIDesign #Collaboration #DesignProcess #Figma #DesignTips #UXStrategy #DevDesignSync
Kingsley Orji Totally agree! Adding annotations during design hand-off makes a huge difference. It helps developers understand not just how things look, but how they’re supposed to work. Saves a lot of back-and-forth and keeps everyone on the same page. Simple notes go a long way! Thank you for this. 👏
Absolutely agree. Annotations are such an underrated part of the design process. They bridge the gap between design and dev, reduce confusion, and save everyone time. Clear communication is just as important as clean design.
That's a great approach—clear, concise annotations can make a huge difference during handoff.
Kingsley Orji you have not been posting in YouTube for some time. I am currently watching one of your tutorials on YouTube.
Annotations saves everyone from so many back and forth and headaches. Thanks for sharing Kingsley.
Wo wo wo How did you get to frame with 6digit number ??
You designs are always nice! Hoping to learn more from you
As someone who is doing my best to learn the important aspects of design, I’m glad I came across this. It’s self explanatory and insightful, thank you Kingsley Orji
Thanks, I will implement this going forward
Major take fron this is as you progress in your career, you have to be open to paying for premium services so as to work smarter and better. I believe this feature on figma is for premium users 😩😭
