Kelly Goenadibrata’s Post

I left Good Stuff Partners a few weeks ago, and honestly, it felt like a breakup that no one wanted to happen. Not because anything was wrong. Actually, the opposite: I was leaving a really good, comfortable place. A place that felt like home. I joined GSP in 2023, post-consulting, ready to work in a space I actually cared about. Creative meets strategic, purpose-driven work where my marketing and ops background could actually make a difference. I got immersed fast. Renaming orgs. Rebranding clients. Launching their first campaigns in years. I hosted the company's 10-year anniversary party (and became the unofficial "Chief Pantry Officer," keeping us all snacked and stocked). What made it special? Values that showed up in the work, not just on paper. The belief that the social sector deserved top-notch creative and analytical power. Beyond building strong brands that give a damn, we brought Huffman Creative (an award-winning production company working with top brands and artists) to Marin Community Foundation. We helped KALW Public Media build their first ever marketing campaign with Magnitude of Change, making top-tier programmatic advertising accessible for purpose-driven clients. That's what happens when you believe in what you're building: 6M impressions in 3 months, 3x more than expected. What a joy it was to work alongside Good Stuff's creative minds and strategists, and founders Adrian Power & Aimee Kilmer who genuinely believed the purpose-driven sector deserved their talent. I also learned what's possible when you build culture intentionally: #4DayWorkWeek that actually work. Time-blocking that maximizes productivity instead of just filling time. Beth Schaffer, a manager who advocates for your growth and well-being as a core part of the job. A company that made sure I had all I needed when we moved office, and that took care of the whole person. I already miss the salad train (when we'd run out of bowls because everyone was munching on salads at the same time) and I miss crossing the Golden Gate Bridge every single day, the most beautiful commute I took for granted too soon. But sometimes the right move is the scary one. This next chapter is uncharted territory, a chance to take my branding and campaign experience into a space that honestly scares me a little. And that's exactly why I needed to do it. To the GSP team: you became a second family. Thank you for pushing me to be my most authentic, best self, and letting me bring my whole self to work (and my rice cooker). Thank you for showing me that there are people who live for making the world better, and companies that prove doing good and doing great work aren't mutually exclusive. How lucky am I to have had exactly what I needed, exactly when I needed it? More on what's next soon. But first, I wanted to honor this chapter ⚡
