Want to make real progress in sales? Start using “If-Then” plans. So many of us know what we need to do — follow up, prospect, qualify — but when the day gets messy (and it always does), that intention gets lost. That’s where If-Then planning comes in. It’s simple, but powerful: “If [situation], then I will [action].” This helps bridge the gap between intention and action. Try these sales-specific examples: ➡️ If I get a ‘maybe’, then I’ll schedule a clear next step before the call ends. ➡️ If I start procrastinating outreach, then I’ll do 2 calls immediately before anything else. ➡️ If a client objects on price, then I’ll ask, ‘Is it the price or the value you’re unsure of?’ This approach takes your goals and builds in the behaviors that make them happen — automatically. It’s like pre-committing to your own success. Start small. Pick one If-Then to run with this week. You’ll be surprised how quickly progress stacks up. #SalesTips #Productivity #BehavioralScience #SalesStrategy #GrowthMindset

Let’s be real, being a sales person is hard. You wake up every day trying to meet targets, follow up with leads that go cold, and still show up with energy like nothing’s wrong. But deep down, it gets tiring sometimes. Here are 2 challenges I know many of us face and how we can start tackling them: 1. The leads just aren’t coming like before. Some days it feels like everyone has gone silent. You’re putting in the work, but the pipeline is dry. What can help? Start showing up where your clients are. You need to know where exactly they are. For many of us, that’s LinkedIn. Share tips, lessons, stories. Let people see your face and your value. When you stay visible, people start to remember you when they need your solution. 2. The Rejections Are Draining “No.” “We’ll get back to you.” “Not interested.” Hearing this repeatedly can mess with your confidence — and let’s be honest, sometimes it stings. You can try to find your rhythm outside of work. Rest. Reflect. Celebrate the small wins. And surround yourself with people who get it — people who understand what this sales life really feels like. You’re not lazy. You’re not doing it wrong. You’re just human — in a tough role. Let’s keep showing up, learning, and leaning on each other. If this resonates with you, let me know in the comments or shoot me a message. You’re not alone. #7DaysLinkedInPowerUpChallengeWithHaoma #20DayLinkedInChallengeWithHaoma #SalesLife #SalesStruggles #SalesExecutive #LinkedInForSales #SocialSelling #B2BSales #RejectionIsRedirection #SalesCommunity #KeepShowingUp #LinkedInPowerUp

12 Harsh Sales Truths I’ve Learned (Sometimes the Hard Way) Sales isn’t for the faint-hearted — it tests your patience, your mindset, and your ability to bounce back after every “no.” After years in this game, here are 12 truths that every real salesperson learns sooner or later 👇 1️⃣ Your pipeline is only as good as your ability to qualify hard and say no early. 2️⃣ Tools don’t replace effort, but they make every hour count. Work smarter. 3️⃣ Sometimes, the best way to help your customer is to challenge their thinking. 4️⃣ Own your numbers. Blaming others never got a deal across the line. 5️⃣ Start your mornings with outbound calls — it changes your momentum for the whole day. 6️⃣ Long hours don’t impress anyone. Results in 8 hours do. 7️⃣ Pick up the phone. It’s still the most powerful sales tool ever created. 8️⃣ Doubt kills deals faster than objections. Confidence is contagious. 9️⃣ Learn to unplug. Burnout doesn’t close targets — clarity does. 🔟 Keep learning. Every call, every deal, every mistake teaches you something new. 1️⃣1️⃣ Build real relationships — your network often sells for you when you’re not in the room. 1️⃣2️⃣ Every sales role is a lab. Experiment, learn fast, move on faster. Sales success isn’t luck — it’s built on discipline, self-awareness, and the will to improve when everyone else slows down. #Sales #Mindset #BusinessDevelopment #Learning #SalesLife #Growth

𝟓 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬! Think sales is all charm and hard closes? Think again. The rules have changed, but these outdated beliefs still trip up even the most ambitious reps. Let’s break them down: 1️⃣ “𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲” Charisma helps, but it’s not the driver. Modern sales wins through listening, understanding customer needs, and solving real problems—not just small talk. 2️⃣ “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐈𝐭𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟” Even the best product needs smart positioning and storytelling. Buyers are drowning in options—you have to show them why your solution fits. 3️⃣ “𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧” Price isn’t the deal-breaker you think. Most buyers care more about ROI and whether you solve their pain. Lead with value and the price conversation changes. 4️⃣ “𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 = 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬” Spraying emails and hammering calls doesn’t guarantee results. Quality > quantity. Target the right prospects with the right message at the right time. 5️⃣ “𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐖𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬” The “always be closing” era is over. Today’s buyers want a partner, not pressure. Trust, timing, and a consultative approach close bigger deals—without burning bridges. Bottom line: Ditch these myths. Focus on value, strategy, and relationships—and watch your pipeline grow the smart way. Ps . ⚖️ Patience vs Aggression – The Perfect Sales Balance ⚖️ Sales isn’t just about hard work — it’s about balance. Too much patience? You miss opportunities. Too much aggression? You push prospects away. The magic happens in between. ✨ நம்ம sales field-ல இரண்டு qualities தான் முக்கியம் — பொறுமை (Patience) & ஆவேசம் (Aggression). But using them at the right time makes all the difference. In my early sales days at Smarther Technologies, I was super aggressive — calling, following up, pushing for meetings. Some deals worked… many didn’t. Then I learned: 👉 Aggression opens the door. 👉 Patience keeps the relationship alive. Sales isn’t about chasing. It’s about timing — knowing when to push and when to pause. 🕰️ A true salesperson knows: • When to follow up again. • When to give space. • When to listen more than speak. நம்ம energy + empathy combine ஆனால்தான் real results வரும். Be aggressive with your actions, but patient with your results. 💪 Because the most successful deals often come from those who stayed consistent — not desperate. 🚀 So next time you feel like giving up or pushing too hard, just pause and ask: “Is this the time to act, or the time to wait?” 💬 Your turn: How do you balance patience and aggression in your sales process? 🕰️ Patience – The Hidden Power in Sales 🕰️ Sales isn’t a sprint. It’s a marathon. Every deal, every client, every follow-up — needs one secret ingredient: Patience. When I started my journey in sales, I used to get frustrated — “Why is this client not replying?” “Why is the decision taking so long?” But later I realized — some of my biggest deals took months to close. Not because the product wasn’t right, but because the timing wasn’t right. 👉 Patience doesn’t mean waiting quietly. It means staying consistent, adding value, and keeping your energy strong — even when results take time. 💬 One small follow-up, one extra call, one genuine check-in can make all the difference. Every “Let’s talk later” could still turn into a “Yes” — if you wait with patience and persistence. நம்பிக்கை + பொறுமை = வெற்றி (Confidence + Patience = Success) 🙌 So to every salesperson out there: Keep following up. Keep believing. Keep growing. Because sometimes, the slowest deal becomes the strongest relationship. 🤝 How do you handle long sales cycles? 📞 Follow-Up Strategy – Stay Consistent Without Being Annoying 📞 In sales, “follow-up” is not just a task — it’s a relationship builder. 💬 But the real skill lies in following up smartly, not desperately. ⚡ நம்ம sales process-ல follow-up தான் most important step. ஆனா எல்லா follow-up-ம் client-க்கு positive-aa feel ஆகாது. சில நேரம் over-follow-up பண்ணினா, அது pressure மாதிரி தோறும். 😅 When I started as a BDE at Smarther Technologies, I learned this the hard way. I used to send frequent reminders thinking I’m being proactive — But clients appreciate value, not volume. 💡 👉 A good follow-up means: • Being consistent, not constant. • Adding a new reason or new information each time you reach out. • Respecting the client’s time and decision-making pace. Instead of saying, “Just following up…” Try saying, “I found something that might help your project.” That’s not pressure — that’s purpose. 🙌 நம்ம voice, timing, tone – இவையெல்லாம் follow-up-ல matter பண்ணும். Professional-ஆவும் polite-ஆவும் இருந்தா, client appreciate பண்ணுவாங்க. ❤️ Because follow-up is not about reminding your existence — It’s about reinforcing your reliability. So, don’t chase your clients — engage with them. A smart follow-up turns silence into conversation and conversation into conversion. 🚀 💬 Question for you: What’s your favorite follow-up line that always works for you? 🚨 Accidental Salespeople: Let’s talk about the darkest valley of selling - when your prospect list looks more like a tumbleweed than a pipeline, and the few prospects you do have are ghosting you harder than an ex who “needed space.” I get it. You didn’t sign up to be in sales. You signed up to coach, consult, design, heal, or whatever it is you really do. But now, here you are, staring at an empty CRM (do you have a CRM???) and wondering, “How the heck do I stay motivated when nothing’s moving and how the heck am I gonna pay the rent this month?” Here’s the truth: this slump is not the end of the story - it’s just a chapter. ✅ Focus on activity, not outcome. You can’t control who says yes today, but you can control how many conversations you start. Even one new reach-out a day builds momentum. ✅ Invest in skill over stress. Use the downtime to sharpen your prospecting, refine your presentation, or learning. Read a sales book, attend a seminar, watch some YouTube videos. Every rep in the gym makes you stronger for when the pipeline fills again. ✅ Reframe rejection. “No” doesn’t mean you stink. It means “not now” or “not me.” Each no is simply a step closer to the yes that is out there. ✅ Borrow belief. If you can’t believe in yourself at this moment, believe in the transformation your product or service delivers. That’s bigger than your slump. Remember: pipelines refill, but not on their own. Take action. Make some calls. Send some emails. Head to a networking event. Reach out on LinkedIn. Slumps end. Confidence is built in the trenches. Staying motivated isn’t about fake hype - it’s about steady, consistent action while others quit. #sales #salesconfidence #salesconfidencelab
