I think it’s really important to call out that we’re in the second phase of transformation in home buying & selling. Transformation fatigue across all actors in this ecosystem is real, but if we recognise that the last 10 years has been building digital maturity in the verticals, we’ve achieved a lot. And importantly we’ve built the foundations for the next stage of Horizontal Digital Integration (HDI) which will redesign the property transaction and customer journey in pursuit of solving the inefficiency and opacity in this industry - for businesses and importantly consumers.
The industry’s made real progress. Digital forms. Online portals. Faster comms. But we’re still capturing the same information three times. Agents, conveyancers, lenders - all duplicating effort.
