Stop putting ABM in boxes.📦 We often define Account-Based Marketing by scale: 1:1 for top accounts, 1:few for clusters, 1:many for broader reach. But what if that’s the wrong starting point? ABM isn’t about how many accounts you target. It’s about what you’re trying to achieve with them. If your goal is to shift perception, you’ll design a very different programme from one that aims to accelerate opportunities or drive expansion. If you start with tiers, you’re building a framework. If you start with outcomes, you’re building a purpose. Sometimes, a 1:few approach drives deeper impact than 1:1. Sometimes, 1:many is what you need to warm up a market before you go deep. ABM isn’t linear - It’s a spectrum that aligns to business goals. Let’s stop defining ABM by boxes and start defining it by impact.
