The inimitable Lee Robinson just launched the first 6 parts of Cursor Learn, one of the best and most thoughtful primers I've seen for using AI to be more effective as a programmer. Strongly recommend taking an ~hour to give it a runthrough this week, whether you're new to AI coding or already an expert. Let us know your thoughts and tell us what you're building! https://cursor.com/learn
Introducing Cursor Learn! My first course is a six-part video series on AI foundations. It's designed for beginners to learn concepts like tokens, context, and agents. If you prefer to read, there's quizzes + AI models to try out. You can watch it in ~1 hour, 100% free! https://cursor.com/learn

I no longer have the time nor the skill to write significant code. (Not that I ever had that much skill.) However, I am amazed by tools like Cursor and recently came across this post by Lee Robinson and found it to be a fascinating tutorial on using AI to help you code. I feel if you are not learning how to use tools like this as a software developer today you are getting left behind.

When working with Machine Learning models, tuning can make the difference between a model that just "works" and one that performs exceptionally well. The secret lies in hyperparameters. Think of hyperparameters as the dials on a music system 🎛️📻 Tune them right → crisp sound. Tune them wrong → noise. In machine learning, hyperparameters decide: • How fast a model learns, • How deep a network should go, • How to balance accuracy vs. overfitting, …and much more. I have broken down the key hyperparameters every beginner should know (swipe 👉 through to explore). If this helped, follow me for more AI & ML made simple posts! #hyperparameters
