This is a first-time sort of post for me. The last year has been a rough ride to say the least. From starting a new job and facing the challenges of learning something new, to losing my dogs, enduring several medical challenges and the recent loss of my mother, none of it has really been easy. At every stop, RSM US LLP came through. Despite being a new employee this year, RSM has been compassionate, supportive, and each time went well above and beyond anything I could ever hope for. Sometimes you take a job not fully knowing or understanding the place, and I couldn't be more at ease knowing that I chose somewhere that cares so much about its greatest resource - us. I had a similar experience of support at my government job when my daughter had a medical emergency. The support was what helped me to get back to work. My daughter is much better now almost 5 years later, but I am still at my office because of the compassion and support.
