Jodi Glickman’s Post

For me, there's nothing in the world more therapeutic than the mountains ⛰️. The great outdoors are my spiritual guru. The Colorado Rockies. The Chilean Andes. Patagonia. And last week, Wyoming's Grand Tetons. I never cease to feel overcome with hope, optimism and gratitude when I put myself in the middle of a mountain range—because it’s hard for my fears, doubts, and insecurities to feel all that big amidst such grandeur. Instead, I always come away feeling happy, grounded, at peace, strong, powerful, motivated.  Life is just better for me in the mountains. You might be a beach person. Or an urban warrior. Or a homebody. No judgment. What matters is that YOU know where your happy place is.  Where you  derive energy from.  Where you can go to recharge, reinvigorate and renew your sense of purpose and wonder and meaning. It might be your nose in a book, a walk on the lakefront, or in Mexico with a Mai Tai in hand… But if you don't know that about yourself, the rest of this maddening world of ours will get. you. down. Where’s your happy place and how does it impact you to "go there"? Share below 👇🏼

When I’m painting! It allows me to cut the noise, play, create and imagine. 🎨

My happy place is GTNP Jodi Glickman. It truly is a magical place. Every chance I get I’m in the Tetons.

Like you, my happy place is in the mountains, any season. Different mindset than at home. Hard to transfer back to the (flat) city, though I try!
