What does a human recruiter do, that AI can't do? You could argue that organisations have more access to talent than ever before right now, but that becomes irrelevant in the face of the huge "relevant skill" shortage that isn't going away. IrishJobs research shows that nearly 8 in 10 employers in Ireland are now using AI in the hiring process. Last month I reviewed an AI screening tool and was surprised by how opaque its decisions were. Transparency matters more than ever in recruitment. 🙂 When algorithms decide who lands an interview we need clear guardrails. Building bias audits into every stage is not just nice to have - it's a must for fairness. Our team tests for demographic gaps before any rollout 🚀. It's okay to hold tech to human standards.
