New report: How libraries support digital transformation

As we wrap up International Open Access Week 2025, we’re celebrating the growing global reach of UC San Diego research! From 2019–2024, UC San Diego authors published more than 2,100 open access articles, saving researchers an estimated $2.96 million in publishing costs through UC’s systemwide open access agreements. These efforts ensure that groundbreaking scholarship from our students, faculty, and staff remains freely available to anyone, anywhere. Through its new MOBIUS membership, Wichita State University has officially adopted FOLIO, with implementation and hosting support provided by EBSCO.
