Over the past year and half I've been in university, I never really felt passionate about what I'm learning in class nor felt truly part of the "school" community (not dropping out btw). Nothing against school, I just realized that the learnings that do excite me happen outside the classroom. So, with all the free time I have when I'm not in class, I've been able to reconnect with my passions in storytelling and filmmaking while growing a new passion in entrepreneurship. And I thought I might be able to intersect those three passions. Recently, I decided to take that seriously and start building my business ndependent. With all my passions in entrepreneurship and storytelling and filmmaking aligned, ndependent is a creative studio focused on helping founders and early-stage brands tell their stories through clear and intentional storytelling. I realized in a world where people only care about end results and status, we often forget the "why." Why people build what they built, the walls and barriers they had to break, and all the times they had to stand back up again to get to where they are. Those are stories that get overlooked yet they're the ones worth telling, to show humility and show that even the most ordinary people are able to build something significant. Building ndependent is my attempt to bring those stories forward. To focus less on outcomes and more on the reason why. Most importantly to show that behind every brand or company is someone's story thats worth understanding.
