Easter is a special day for me and my family where we celebrate renewal, our blessings and our faith. At Lowe’s, this Easter Sunday we are closing our stores to give our frontline associates much deserved time with their family and friends. Truly great brands put their people first. Not just in words, but in actions. This is a great example of the heart of the Lowe’s brand and why I’m proud to be a small part of it.
Our stores will be closed Easter Sunday. We do this because our associates deserve a day to be at home with their families, their traditions and those who matter most. But it raises a fair question, why take a day off during one of the busiest times of the year? The messages we receive from our people, year after year, say it better than we ever could.
