It's true now more than ever that you are a brand. Every interaction people have with you creates a story in their mind about how trustworthy you are, what your values are, whether they want to work with you, be friends with you, or date you... The good news is, you are in full control of the image you want to project to the world. Just make sure it's genuine, because when it isn't, the world will always find out eventually.

Your brand is not built by what you say about yourself. It is built quietly, in rooms you are not in… in conversations you cannot hear. It is in the way people describe your character, your consistency, your integrity. When your name comes up, does it carry trust… or doubt? Respect… or uncertainty? Because at the end of the day, your true brand is the story people tell about you when you are absent. Build it with intention. Protect it with character. And let it speak for you..everywhere you go.

If you’re trying to be liked by everyone, you’ll end up being remembered by no one. Most people play it safe. You post the "safe" take, you agree with the popular opinion, and you make sure your perspective is as neutral as possible. You feel professional because you aren’t causing friction, but the reality is that you’re becoming background noise. If you want to actually build a presence that people pay attention to, you need to pick a side: Conflict Creates Clarity: People don’t follow people for "average" takes. They follow people who have a clear point of view. Don’t be afraid to disagree with the industry "standard." The Middle of the Road is Crowded: When you try to appeal to everyone, you dilute your message until it means nothing. Specialized authority requires you to exclude the people who aren't your audience. Respect Over Likeability: You don’t need people to like your opinion; you need them to respect your expertise. You get that by being consistent, even when it’s not the "easy" thing to say. Your brand isn't what you say; it’s what you stand for. Stop trying to fit in and start being brave enough to stand out.

Being easy to remember is a skill. Few practice it. Alex Hormozi says, “You don’t get remembered for everything. You get remembered for one thing.” Simple. But most people avoid it. Because choosing one thing means letting go of the rest. That’s where clarity starts. - Say one thing clearly. - Stand behind it repeatedly. - Let others carry it forward in their circles. That’s how recognition builds. By being easy to remember. This carousel breaks down his strongest ideas. The kind that stay with you. Save it. Come back to it. -- ♻️ Share this with someone building their authority brand. Follow Shiv Shenoy for clear, experience-backed thinking on building your Authority Brand.

If you feel your brand is stuck, this might be for you. There’s always a phase where it feels like nothing is happening. You’re showing up, putting work out, trying to get better and it’s quiet. No big spikes. No clear signals. Just momentum that’s hard to measure. But that phase isn’t empty. It’s where people are slowly getting familiar with you. Where your voice starts to feel consistent. Where someone listens once… then comes back again. That’s trust taking shape. You don’t really see it while it’s happening. But over time, it’s the only reason anything starts to move. By the time results show up, they’re just catching up to the trust that was built earlier.

most brands make a big mistake when telling their story they make themselves the hero of the story but people don't follow you to watch you win they follow to see how you help them win position your brand as the guide that helps the hero, not the other way around thank me later

The best brands have an origin story. if you don't have one, it's only a matter of time till you fade away in people's minds. your origin story needs to reveal: who you are/who you used to be. why you're here/why you started this journey. your personal ethos.

The truth is brand lives in depth. The language you use. The placement. The talent you cast. The stories that only resonate inside a specific community. We now call this culture. As creatives, it's our responsibility to protect authenticity. You can't steal authenticity - where I'm from we call that biting. And you can't create depth if you've never been part of the community you're trying to represent.

PRESENCE + Your VOICE The process in which you had to endure to obtain the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of your purpose cultivated your VOICE! That process built you into a dragon where the fire that comes from within you will be evident in what you’re speaking. Be honest Powerhouse Woman…when you speak, you feel heat rising from your belly that travels up through your body….and just as you are about to open your mouth, you feel the heat in your throat. The moment the words are spoken, you feel hot. It’s not hot flashes and you aren’t becoming overheated each time you have to speak…that’s the evidence of the authority of your VOICE! That’s why it’s important to first become authentic (so you are confident in who you are), then secondly be experienced through your presence (because it announces you before you speak), and finally, to use your voice as you are teaching/building those called to you. This is how you build trust with who is called to you… It’s all about intentionality with you as the brand first…because the brand you build becomes a direct reflection of its host🩷🫶🏾

Imagine calling an organization to offer support, and they bang in your face... From a professional standpoint, every single caller deserves the opportunity to be heard... you never know what awaits you on the other end... Imagine finally meeting that person that banged in your face... at that point they have already tarnished their brand... BE KIND, BE RESPECTFUL, AND BE PROFESSIONAL AT ALL TIMES!

Saying ‘I love you’ can come from the mouth, but true love comes from the heart. In the same way, saying we care about your brand can be mere words. People may be convinced by talk, but real satisfaction comes from results. You don’t need to force people to notice your brand. Some will see it and pass by and that’s okay. What truly matters is consistency and clarity. Clarity draws people in as they begin to discover the value you offer. Then everything starts to change. Over time, people begin to notice. No brand truly stands out through noise alone. With the right tools and consistent delivery, public perception begins to shift. Eventually, they no longer see you as ‘new’; they see you as real, established, and trustworthy because the right results come from using the right tools.
