Introducing: Railcut Track-based editing for After Effects. Cut, slip, slide, ripple edit, waveforms, thumbnails. No more round-tripping to Premiere. I've wanted this tool for years, so I built it. Railcut brings a real editorial timeline to After Effects. https://lnkd.in/grf6JE26

I tried this and I have to say DAMN! I wish I had this years ago when I was struggle to edit inside AE!

This is really neat! Curious... Our team works with an Audio Engineer for the final mix. Do you think there is a way to export audio from Railcut as an OMF or as a similar format after the animation is complete? 🤔

If I still can't do real-time playback in my AE 2026 (probably because of my slow computer), this tool won't make it for me, right?

It has a big problem. It does not preview in Railcut. I love the idea but not functional. I have to request for refund.

This is going to be a total game changer. Time to uninstall Pr

Can’t wait to try it. What happens when you share a project with somebody who doesn’t have railcut though or visa versa? Do things get messy?
