6 years since I first started at Microsoft - This is what I have learnt This covers my high-level career tips including imposter syndrome, promotion or purpose, comparing yourself and much more. This is my first time writing a blog series about my career learnings with authentic stories and vulnerabilities. It has been therapeutic to write down what I would tell myself if I was just starting my career. My upcoming blogs will be on "How you show up" and "Work-life balance". I am always open to feedback, discussions and suggestions on future topics. Please share to anyone starting their career and may find this useful. #career #learning #blogging #careerdevelopment #work
Great insights Jack! As someone who is EIC its a informative read. The promotion or purpose section was very thought provoking. Hope all good in the US!

Great stuff Jack Rowbotham! Thank you for sharing!
An excellent blog Jack, even more powerful for sharing. I agree wholeheartedly in the value of a career that takes different directions and isn’t simply focused on a linear trajectory. You also emphasise the value of relationships, networks of people who an help us overcome the blocks we face. Thier value is imense in offering their perspectives and insights about our achievements, past and present as well as future possibilities. I look forward to more.
Jack, thanks for sharing!
