Major week for Maybank at the ASEAN Finance Ministers and Governors Meeting with key side events The ASEAN Investors Conference, ASEAN Forum on Financial Well-Being, the BNM-NBC Launch of QR Pay Cambodia Ph2, Gala Dinner, Maybank PGCEO Bloomberg TV interview and our inaugural debut of the Maybank-ASEAN Booth at the Open House Exhibition, showcasing our 4 pillars of support for Malaysia's Chair of ASEAN year (1) Social Impact (2) Sustainability (3) Inclusive Economy and (4) Islamic and Values-Based Finance from 7 to 10 April 2025. Kudos to all teams involved across the Group and to my Group Corporate Affairs team for messaging, event and stakeholder management of all above. Highlight of course was having YAB PMX photo op at our booth as well as time with many other key VIPs: MKII, D MoF Deputy Minister & SecGen, Minister of FT, BNM Governor and Deputy Governor, NBC Governor (Cambodia), SC, Bursa, KL Mayor at Maybank related events and showcases as well as catching up with many industry comrades and meeting DBS Group CEO and my counterpart at DBS too!
