We've been sending you newsletters for years. They did what most newsletters do: rounded up our latest work, pointed you to our website, hoped you'd click. As our inboxes have grown more crowded, we felt it was time to build something different. Rather than act as a bulletin board or a launchpad elsewhere, we wondered what it could feel like if our thoughts accompanied you throughout your commute, or sat with you over a full mug of coffee. Today we're launching the next iteration of our newsletter. This first edition includes a letter from our CEO Michelle Kreger on what's fueling IDEO.org's next era. Hopefully, its one that invites you to stay awhile. We've also kept room for the small stuff: where to find us, what's inspiring our team, and the occasional thing that just made us laugh. We want this to feel worth your time. So if you read it, tell us what landed, what didn't, what you want more of.
Shifting a newsletter from a bulletin board to a thoughtful companion is a smart move. A Reuters study shows narrative content boosts reader engagement by 30 percent. Including the CEO letter adds real value and builds strong trust with your audience.
The focus on Opportunity to reshape work, care, and learning for a more choice-filled life really resonated with me. I'd love to hear more about that! And happy 15 years--what a celebratory milestone!
great issue and thank you for all of your guiding insights for so many years!
So beautifully said and congrats on 15 impactful years! 👏
Happy 15 years! ❤️🔥💯🥂
Happy birthday, dear IDEO.org. You are a teenager now, with wisdom way, way beyond your years. Your optimism and enthusiasm fuels us all, and the community of the people you unite is strong and steadfast. Onwards… PS: I especially loved the individual inspirations at the end of the newsletter.
