Got a pretty good laugh out of this one. Yes, Virginia… SEO is alive and well. And for local businesses who’ve relied primarily on map pack SEO, you’d better dust off the ol’ “Blue Link SEO” playbook. Because the majority of those tactics are about to be back with a vengeance. Those fundamentals are about to matter again. The funny part is that many of the tactics being labeled as “new” in GEO really aren’t new at all. Most core SEO work carries straight over into AI visibility. Things like structured data (plus basics like optimizing llms.txt), citations, entity signals, solid content, and building additional visibility around social media. These are all time-tested SEO tactics. The main difference just seems to be how those signals get interpreted and surfaced inside AI systems. In other words: the plumbing behind SEO didn’t change. The faucet did. #SEO #GEO #HVACmarketing

It’s always funny to see “GEO expert” announcing that SEO is dead 😂 Alright then — since SEO apparently doesn’t matter anymore, could you please explain how to “do GEO”? GEO expert: You just need to research queries, create EEAT content for your website, get other sites to mention you, and list your business information everywhere. Tell me again how this isn’t SEO? 😅
