What does it take to build the "Hasher of the Future"? Recently, our new high potential leaders embarked on an incredible journey at Deloitte University, Hyderabad for HU SOAR—a milestone learning and leadership experience. But this wasn't your standard 2-day corporate training. The journey began weeks prior through deep self-awareness assessments and virtual learning, laying the groundwork for true growth. When the cohort finally came together in person, the energy was unmatched. We dove deep into what makes our HashedIn culture unique, exploring: 1. The evolving “Hasher of the Future” mindset 2. The latest AI and engineering trends 3. Advanced stakeholder management & leadership communication 4. Risk mitigation for high-stakes projects Beyond the tech and strategy, the magic happened in the cross-functional case studies and team-building moments. Silos were broken down, and a stronger, more resilient community of leaders was forged. HU SOAR was more than a program; it was a launchpad. Incredibly proud of our high potential cohort who are returning to their teams equipped to make a visionary impact! ✨ Leadership reflections that stay with you… Had the opportunity to engage with our Infosys CHRO - Shaji Mathew in a recent leadership connect - a conversation that brought together the evolving intersections of business strategy, talent, and transformation. 💡 One idea that truly stayed with me: It’s not just about delivering outcomes, but about shaping the narrative around them. In today’s environment, how we communicate progress can be just as critical as the progress itself. What made it even more meaningful was his perspective from being on both sides of the table - business and HR. It offered a balanced, practical view of how talent, strategy, and execution must come together seamlessly. 🔍 We reflected on a few emerging themes shaping organizations today: · Aligning talent strategy closely with business priorities · Building resilience through geographic diversification · Reimagining talent models to stay future-ready and agile · Leveraging AI and digital innovation to transform how we attract and engage talent 🏆 It was also a proud moment to reflect on the team’s recognition at the AFE Awards - a reminder that consistency and focus always compound over time. 🌱 My biggest takeaway: Be the AI builders & masters you'd want to attract. The future of talent isn’t just about scale - it’s about clarity, adaptability, and staying deeply connected to business outcomes for our clients. #Leadership #TalentStrategy #FutureOfWork #AIinHR #Hiring Varadharaj V (Vardha) Herman Kalra Ranjana Joshi Nishita Das

From building cars… to building strategies. From manufacturing floors… to CXO boardrooms. Anuj Jain’s journey is a reminder that careers are not built in straight lines. They are built through mindset shifts, uncomfortable transitions, and moments of deep self-belief. One of the biggest “aha moments” from our conversation was this: - Consulting is not just a job. It is a way of life: When Anuj moved from manufacturing into an innovation center and later into consulting after his MBA, he realized something important — the biggest transition was not about skills. It was about changing the way he thought. Moving from an employee mindset to an entrepreneurial mindset changed everything. Another powerful insight was around “unlearning.” He shared how he believed he was already good at presentations and storytelling… until consulting pushed him to a completely different standard. Creating one impactful slide for CXOs sometimes took months of learning, thinking, simplifying, and understanding the audience deeply. (Really liked the example of how did you prepare and presented in a CXO meeting.) That is a great example as many times growth is not about learning something new. It is about unlearning what we think we already know. What I personally loved was his practical advice for students and professionals: * Read consistently * Listen to founders deeply * Build your communication skills * Differentiate your profile (I liked the hack that he used to differentiate yourself from your peers :-) * Quantify your work * Tell stories through experiences, not buzzwords * And most importantly… create opportunities by reaching out to people Simple advice. Powerful impact!!! This conversation with Anuj was full of honest insights, real struggles, and actionable lessons for anyone preparing for consulting, management roles, or career transitions. Sharing the full interview here — highly recommended for MBA students, early professionals, and anyone trying to figure out their next big move. If your board is stuck on skills shortage, you’re missing what Deloitte calls the experience gap. Reports say entry‑level roles often now require 2–5 years experience and recent hires frequently lack practical readiness. In financial services, insurance, and public accounting leadership searches, this gap slows pipeline velocity. Boards must value judgment and contextual adaptability — not just “they tick the boxes.” Read here: https://lnkd.in/e6Ng_7nB Is your leadership pipeline built around potential or just checkboxes

Sometimes, the best lessons in our career come not from books, but from people around us. Back when I was working at Cognizant, I remember a senior colleague saying something that stayed with me for years. At that time, I questioned it. I used to think, “Why not explain everything? Why not teach the whole process immediately?” Then one day, my senior shared a perspective that completely changed how I see leadership, mentorship, and teamwork: “In times of support, you give support, not advice, because a drowning person is saved, not taught how to swim.” That statement hit differently. In difficult situations—whether at work, in projects, or in life—people often don’t need long explanations first. They need someone who stands beside them, helps them get through the challenge, and supports them when they feel overwhelmed. Teaching matters, guidance matters, but timing matters too. A good mentor knows when to teach and when to simply support. This lesson shaped the way I approach teamwork and leadership: first help people regain stability, then help them grow. Have you ever received advice or a lesson from a senior that stayed with you for years? #Leadership #Mentorship #CareerGrowth #Teamwork #Learning #Cognizant #ProfessionalGrowth #Travelpot #INDIA

🔥 BETTER DECISIONS. BETTER FUTURE. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY In business, success is rarely about speed of decisions—it’s about quality of decisions. A powerful leadership example is Narayana Murthy. During the early days of Infosys, when shortcuts could have delivered faster growth, he chose transparency, governance, and long-term thinking. Those decisions didn’t create immediate results—but they built trust, credibility, and a global brand over time. The difference is simple: 👉 Quick decisions create movement 👉 Right decisions create legacy The insight is clear—every decision you make today quietly shapes your future outcomes. #ViralShahInsights #goodmorning #positivevibes #DecisionMaking #Leadership #Strategy #Business #Execution ☀️ MORNING MANTRA Every choice you make is building your future silently. Take time to think, not just react. Right decisions may be slower — but they last longer 🚀

𝗔 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗽 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Some leaders see reality through 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿. Every risk feels dangerous, every change feels threatening, and every setback feels personal. Others see reality through 𝗳𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲. They delay hard decisions, ignore warning signs, and assume things will somehow work out. Both lose clarity. And without clarity, 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀. The rare leaders rise above both fear and illusion: 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲. That is where wise decisions are made. That is where executive presence is built. Dear Balkrishan "BK" Kalra Genpact Tiger Tyagarajan Genpact has genuinely built a reputation over the years as a factory of leaders, process excellence, and operational discipline. And to be fair, most leaders there truly reflect that standard. But every great leadership institution occasionally produces a few “special case studies” too. Apparently, for some managers, inability to plan work during office hours automatically upgrades a mid-month process issue into a midnight emergency. Interesting interpretation of leadership. Especially when the escalation strategy involves Vishal Nagar calling employees — and even their relatives — at odd hours, as if emergency contact numbers were designed for process follow-ups instead of actual emergencies. And somewhere between all this operational “urgency,” basic human sensitivity also seems to disappear. Because calling a female employee at midnight for a non-critical work issue is not leadership pressure. It’s simply poor judgment packaged as managerial authority. A mature leader would either: • wait for the next working day, • manage bandwidth better, or • connect with someone genuinely available after shift hours — much like Mr. Vishal Nagar himself seems comfortable extending his own work schedule. After all, not every employee is expected to normalize midnight operational anxiety as a KPI. Real leadership is not measured by how many people you can disturb after working hours. It’s measured by how efficiently you can run operations without disturbing people’s personal lives. Thankfully, institutions like Genpact are respected because of the many strong leaders they create — not because of the rare exceptions who mistake panic for professionalism. #Leadership #Professionalism #WorkCulture #CorporateLeadership #Management #EthicalLeadership #WomenAtWork #EmployeeExperience
