I posted a poll asking if people feel that ATS systems are powered by AI and the majority said yes however ALL recruiters voted that humans get the final say 🤔 Remember, recruiters actually are the ones who see what is going on in the backend of ATS systems while job seekers are getting advice on LinkedIn, some of it propaganda enticing them to pay for a service to make their resume compatible There is so much hype around getting past an ATS system a lot of it coming from people on the market that have never recruited. Over the past ten years of recruiting (hi, it’s me!!) that has been filtering resumes🙋♀️ Yes, AI is making advances and changing the recruitment game. While some ATS systems have AI, it’s more to help select not reject At this point, the majority of ATS systems are resume filing cabinets not fueled by AI, and companies using it for this purpose could get into legal compliance issues Continue to tailor your resume, have a clean readable format and focus on impact and results.
