Where Are My UGC Creators & Community on LinkedIn? 🙋🏻♀️ 🎥 I’ve recently started working on more UGC (User-Generated Content) contracts via UpWork, and it's been super fun! I've had the opportunity to partner with cool brands like BriteLune, a lifestyle Tumblr company, women’s wellness companies, a memory foam pillow brand, a digital marketing agency, and more to create authentic, and engaging content. Here’s what I’ve learned so far about UGC 👇 ✅ Anyone can do it! You don’t need a massive following on social media to start landing contracts with reputable brands. ✅ It’s all about authenticity. Brands value raw, genuine content that resonates with their target audience and authentically promotes their products/services. ✅ You don't need a lot to get started. Many brands don’t even require you to edit the videos—they handle that themselves. ✅ It can be highly rewarding. Depending on your level of experience you can charge anywhere between $200–$400+ per single use video (1–4 minutes). Initially, I wasn't clear what the differences were between UGC and brand sponsorships. But here's what I've learned: ➡️ UGC: You’re creating content specifically for the brand to use in their marketing channels. It’s not about your social media presence—it’s about the quality of the content you deliver. ➡️ Brand Sponsorships: These are partnerships where brands collaborate with influencers or creators with a significant following. The content is typically shared on the creator’s personal platforms to leverage their audience. This means anyone with a love for video, storytelling and content creation can start landing UGC deals today! In this video, I partnered with AuraFem Health, a women’s wellness company, on a mission to break social taboos, provide personalized tools, and address the root causes of women’s health issues. I went through a detailed questionnaire that helped create a customized plan tailored to my specific needs during a transitional phase in my life. They even offer options to work with a wellness coach or doctor to implement these changes. The best part about UGC? You get to choose who you work with.
