This is a powerful direction. The real bottleneck in most organisations isn’t lack of data, it’s unstructured judgment. Capturing that “how we decide” layer is what turns AI from a generic tool into something organisation-specific. Where it gets interesting is how that judgment is maintained over time; as teams change, contexts shift, and edge cases accumulate. Encoding expertise is one step. Keeping it aligned, auditable, and responsive to real-world feedback is where the long-term value compounds. Strong step toward making AI systems reflect how businesses actually operate, not just how they’re documented.

The move toward community-built customizations is exactly where this needed to go. The real unlock for AI tools has always been how well they fit into the specific workflow of the person using them, not just out of the box capability. Full-text search for agents is a small feature with a big impact for teams trying to find signal in a fast-moving space.
As AI tools become central to the development workflow, the QA side of things becomes even more critical — ensuring AI-generated code is reliable, tested, and production-ready. A dedicated learning hub like this is a great resource for teams looking to integrate AI thoughtfully into their SDLC.
Team - Not doing opt in, hiding the opt out setting (they should be in privacy right?… you know better), giving such short notice, training on private repos ; especially for paid users is a disgrace. You know better - hopefully you reverse this decision. Just sad how this product is going down hill so fast. Just disgraceful.
Looks promising. The real test will be how well this works beyond demos and simple use cases.
The 1-click plugin install for VS Code is a nice touch — friction reduction for community extensions is what actually drives adoption. Full-text search across agents and skills was long overdue.
The model is the commodity. The ecosystem of community-built skills is the moat. GitHub knows this
